BMW Group Plant Landshut has been an essential part of the BMW Group’s global production network since 1967. Today about 3,800 people produce engine and chassis components as well as light metal castings for structural parts. On top of that, our plant is home to the production units for plastic vehicle exterior components, carbon car body parts, cockpits and further equipment, electric drive systems, exchange and special engines as well as driveshafts.
These components are delivered to BMW Group’s vehicle and engine plants all around the world. As the center of excellence for lightweight construction and electro-mobility, BMW Group Plant Landshut is closely involved in the development processes for new cars. This is where highly qualified specialists develop the innovative materials and production processes for the mobility of the future.
