Award for vocational training at Plant Leipzig.

BMW Group Plant Leipzig has been recognised as the top vocational training company in Saxony’s metal and electrical industry.

At the recent assembly of the Sachsenmetall Business Association, the best trainees and vocational training companies in the State of Saxony were honoured for their achievements. Among them was BMW Group Plant Leipzig, which won the award for best vocational training company for the first time in 2016. Award winners are selected on the basis of their share of trainees, range of services for guidance on careers and studies, school sponsorships and trainee support.

The award was handed over by Saxony's Deputy Minister President and Minister of Economic Affairs, Labour and Transport Martin Dulig, and the President of the metalworkers’ union Sachsenmetall, Dr. Jörg Brückner.
