BMW Manufacturing Announces Hiring for Production and Logistics Positions.

Spartanburg, S.C. BMW Manufacturing announced today that they are hiring for production and logistics positions at the Spartanburg plant. BMW’s contract staffing partner, MAU, Inc., will be responsible for hiring these new team members. Applicants should attend the job fair at Spartanburg Community College’s Tyger River Campus in Duncan, SC, on Tuesday, March 13, from 8:30 a.m. – 7 p.m. Applicants can also apply online at www.mau.com/bmwjobs. MAU confirmed that these jobs include health, dental, 401(k) and vacation benefits along with highly competitive wages.

BMW announced in June that it is investing an additional $600 million in the Spartanburg plant from 2018 through 2021 to support manufacturing infrastructure for future generations of X models. An additional 1,000 jobs are also being added through 2021.

BMW Plant Spartanburg produces 1,400 vehicles each day, with a model portfolio that includes the BMW X3, X4, X5 and X6 Sports Activity Vehicles and Coupes (and their variants). The all-new BMW X7 will debut in late 2018. Last year, the Spartanburg plant produced 371,284 vehicles. The factory has a production capacity of 450,000 vehicles and employs 10,000 people.
