Information for employees
THIS INFORMATION WAS REVIEWED AND UPDATED ON 28 MAY.
We hope that you and your families are well.
Our production has restarted, running with reduced shifts/crews. Please be assured that health remains our highest priority and we are committed to complying with Government guidance and protecting everyone working at our site. Our entire plant has been assessed and numerous new measures are in place.
As we are operating a phased approach of return to our usual shifts/crews, this means, that over a period of time, some people (both production and support areas), will be contacted to return to work before others. Those who have not been contacted yet should not worry, everyone has a role to play as we go forward.
From the 1 June we will welcome back our second shift on Band L. Flex K are operating as per their usual shift and three shifts are running on each machining line, but with reduced crews.
To comply with current Government guidance, people who are requested to work, but can continue their job roles from home, should continue to do so.
CAR SCHEME UPDATE (28 MAY): Group Car Schemes (GCS) handover centres across the UK are planning to reopen in early June. Appointments will be rescheduled over the next few weeks and associates will be contacted directly regarding their new appointment. Queries should be directed to Alphabet Group Car Schemes on 0370 5050 186, but please appreciate this is a busy time. For some people, especially those who have not returned to site yet, it’s very likely you have not used your vehicle much recently, so we ask that you please take responsibility for ensuring the maintenance of your car.
PALS: We are sorry to advise that our PALS (Parts, Accessories and Lifestyle Scheme) service is currently suspended. Apologies for any inconvenience that this may cause.
EVENTS: Our annual Mountain Challenge event has been cancelled this year.
Thank you for your continued support, flexibility and cooperation.
