Works Council

The works council is a body elected by the workforce. At present, our works council has 23 employee representatives, some of them working full-time, others in an honorary capacity.

The foundation of their activities is the Works Constitution Act, which lists that the works council’s main task is to make sure that the company adheres to and implements all valid laws, regulations, accident prevention guidelines, bargaining agreements and company agreements to the benefit of the employees. In addition to the works council, the youth and apprentices council as well as the disabled employees’ council represent the interest of these respective groups.
