Prisma Health Children’s Hospital.
At Prisma Health* Children’s Hospital –Upstate, we know that children aren’t small adults and one size doesn’t fit all. That’s why we deliver “whole child” care that’s just the right size for the 500,000 infants, children and adolescents we treat each year. With doctors representing over 40 specialties, Children’s Hospital–Upstate provides more comprehensive care than most major medical centers. In fact, we are the Upstate’s only pediatric hospital recognized by the Children’s Hospital Association. Plus, we are backed by the resources, expertise, and technology available at the area’s only academic health center, which means you’ll find first-class care in your own backyard.

Meyer Center for Special Children
The Meyer Center for Special Children is a nonprofit that empowers children with disabilities to reach their maximum potential. Our unique approach integrates early childhood education with intensive therapies, bridging the gap between students with disabilities and their typical peers. The Meyer Center serves children (ages 0-7 years) with varying disabilities such as cerebral palsy, Down Syndrome, autism and rare genetic conditions. Nine multi-categorical classrooms (serving 95 students) provide an enriching educational setting for students to learn while simultaneously receiving intensive speech, physical and occupational therapies. This early intervention is key in determining our students’ long-term success in life. We believe that in the right environment, every child can succeed.
